WordPress: I personally use WordPress as the platform for my blog. It is free and with such a great community creating the plugins, you can easily find one that fulfill your needs.

WordPress Plugins: This is where you can get all the wonderful plugins for your blog.

Unique Blog Designs: I personally use themes that are designed by Unique Blog Designs. Check them out if you need some themes for your blogs.

Hosting and Domain

Bluehost: This is what I personally use. Bluehost provides domain registration and hosting. It is easy to set up your blog with the one click installation. It is also affordable with prices as low as $6.95 per month.

Email Subscription

Aweber: I chose Aweber because of its reliability. It is the best email opt in service and email marketing/broadcasting tool.

Product Distribution, Transactions And Shopping Carts

Paypal: You can either sell your own products through them or use them to send and receive payments. It is becoming a norm to make transactions online using Paypal.

E-Junkie: If you create a product and want to sell it online, E-Junkie is a great shopping cart you use. It also comes with a decent affiliate program for your products.

Clickbank: Clickbank is the most popular digital products retailer. You can find a wide range of digital products from their market place to sell. It also provides a great affiliate program for your products.

Tools and Plugins

Ultimate Footer Ad: This is my preferred pop out that helps to increase conversion and capture more leads.

Social Bookmarking Demon: I use this for building backlinks to my affiliate niche sites. It helps to save up tons of time on social bookmarking.

Article Marketing Automation: I use Article Marketing Automation to help rewrite and spin articles. It also does the job of building back links to my niche sites by distributing the articles to blogs in their network.

Outsourcing

Elance: Elance is a great site for finding freelancers for outsourcing any work you can think of.

Tools For Podcasting

Skype: Skype is a free application which you can use to chat or video chat with your friends. With the addtion of Pamela, you use it to record interviews.

Pamela: Pamela Professional Edition is a call recorder application which I use to record my podcast and interviews.

Audacity: Audacity is an open source sound editor. I use it to edit my podcasts and interviews before publishing it online.
